It is difficult to put into words the impact you had on all of us. From the moment you joined the CARD family, you brought compassion, authenticity, and a sense of purpose. You made people feel seen, valued, and cared for, and that is a rare and lasting gift. You reminded us what this work is truly about. We miss you. Right from the start, training you brought the best vibe and your instant connection to the kids let us know how amazing your heart is. Each session was filled with laughter and fun memories with the clients. Our connection ran deeper than work as even outside your inviting and warm hearted nature grew us all closer. From going out to eat at chilis on a random Tuesday after work to growing spiritually through song, you were not just our friend but a brother we could lean on. Someone to call if we needed anything or just someone to talk about life with. You shared a deep connection with everyone at work and outside of work, you were a beacon of light to the community. Gio the way you gave and showed love was an embodiment of what you believe in, and that is something we will carry with us forever. You brung our group together, a great vessel for the most high. Your light has left a mark on us all and we are so glad that you were a part of our lives. It took a little while before we had a conversation with each other, but that first day we hung out and talked we became family, and that relationship grew exponentially. We truly were so blessed to have gotten the chance to work with you and the clients were just as lucky to have you as their therapist.
